Bruges, capital of the province called West-Flanders

Bruges, also known as "Venice of the North" used to be a very powerfull medieval city. Nowadays its secrets whisper to tourists who seek enchantment in its narrow streets. Although often linked with beauty, Bruges-La-Morte has inspired various artists to a certain darkness within the old citygates and silent waters. Bruges is best known for its lace and chocolate and old traditions like the procession of the Holy Blood.
